File Your Cool Feature Idea #5 Here

  1. For my cool feature idea I think it would be interesting to cover a local fashion event from the perspective of someone going to one for the first time. For example, someone who has never seen a fashion show before but has always wanted to. What would the show be like through their eyes?

  2. Architecture is one of the more demanding majors at OU. The competition is high and students must deal with long nights at the studio, rarely getting enough sleep each night. I think it would be interesting to figure out why students choose this major and is all the work and time worth it at the end. I would talk to a Freshmen just starting the program and then someone who has graduated which an architecture degree and see what they had to go through.

  3. Jailbreaking the digital way. Jailbreaking is popular among iPhone and iPad users. It's a process that gives the user pretty much freedom with the phone's technology concerning apps, etc. Jailbreaking is still a very controversial subject and Apple's warranty goes void once the process is done.
I know two students who jailbreak, Matt Farley and Zac McCullock, because they like the "freedom."
So how do you do it, what are the pros and cons, and why do it?
    What's IT think?

  4. Atiba Chike Williams is a music performance major student at OU. I think it is a cool to do a feature about his life with music. One thing unique about him is that he practices piano at 6 a.m. every morning at Couch Center except for weekends.

  5. I would like to do a story about the lab hours in Gaylord's computer labs. Why are they not open later? Are their hours justified? How much does it cost 'to keep the lights on?' I think this would be an interesting and informative story for Gaylord students.
